The JRCC Scholarship Workshop and JRCC & JSRH Workshop (2025) held from December 12-15, 2025, was packed with activities yet still yielded valuable outcomes. One observation was that PhD students might be even more diligent than faculty members. Future events should likely focus on PhD students and early-career scholars.
1. Sixteen PhD students received awards this year, with one voluntarily declining the scholarship. Most participants adhered to speaking guidelines and offered thoughtful critiques.
2. The workshop featured 29 papers, yet many presenters exceeded time limits. Doctoral candidates and young scholars delivered thorough critiques and willingly shared perspectives and materials.
3. Young participants generally offered candid critiques without reservation, and they were equally open to receiving constructive feedback.
